I have Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer, it has LED bars on top that are programmable to do different patterns. They speed up/down when the memory is being used more/less. It's pretty cool. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148554

I remember when I bought mine it was $45, not $99. Gotta love RAM prices.  :)

Crucial Ballistix tracer or Corsair dominator Platinum with light bars

Yeah i was thinking about Crucial Ballistixs tracer aswell, but they're kinda of old aren't they? Would they work fine with the newest hardware with no problems, i don't feel like having problems with my computer because of RAM lol and i really don't want the RAM to be a bottle neck.

the specs on the RAM isn't bad. the Corsair will probably be more reliable with more performance but also will cost more. your RAM is almost never a bottleneck. 1600MHz RAM is almost always fast enough if you have a dedicated graphics card. 8gb is also usually enough for gaming, with more being good for productivity if you use your computer for video editing, certain types of CAD, or STUPID amounts of chrome tabs at once, as in over 50 tabs etc.

Avexir is usually the best RAM to go with for LEDs. Sad that they closed their custom RAM service down. Use to be able to pick the heat spreader the LED color and even have them print things on the side of the sticks. It was sweet.
