Just because someone buys this doesn't make them poor. 

 

It just might be all that they need. 

 

If I told you my rig has an i3, would you say I'm poor? You probably would. But then you wouldn't know that my other rig has a Xeon. Poor? Hardly. 

 

Just spending on what makes sense for me, and low end CPUs like this are genuinely all that most consumers will ever need.

agreed, as amazing as the PC master race is. we still have issues with dick measuring constests based on the cost of parts, and fanboyism that a good chunk of the PC community still think an Intel i7 and a Nvidia GPU are the only combination of PC parts that they accept.

 

I have a AMD 7850K and a used mining r9 290.
