I'm building a pc, and I need a keyboard... I don't want to spend much on it, $30 or less would be good. Everyone says that mechanical keyboards are really good, but I can't justify spending $100 on a keyboard. Could you guys recommend something good?

Get some Microsoft Wired keyboard, they're like $10 and they are essentially the same thing as a $30 keyboard except they don't have tacky symbols on it and don't say gaming all over it. That Zalman looks okay though.

Cheap mechanicals aren't really that good. For keyboards most people go really cheap or go all out. I went really cheap on my room computer with a $10 Microsoft wired keyboard, and all out on a Ducky Shine 2 on my gaming rig. Honestly I don't mind using either of them for gaming, and to me the $100 difference isn't really justifiable. If you don't need a dedicated button to open Google or your email for you, just get something like the Wired Keyboard 400. The money you save even from a budget of $30 could buy you a case fan or two.
