White Corsair C70 with custom white Sabertooth Z77.

White plastic only spray paint, few light coats from a couple feet through the day. And used wet Q-tip to remove paint over metal Sabertooth insignia.

I allowed the paint to dry over 5 days. No problem with heat after installed.

Rust-Oleum Specialty Espresso Direct-to-Plastic Spray Paint from Menards. There is a couple of brands that seem the same, Look for Plastic only and it will only be available in 4 or less colors.

The window is 1/8" polycarbonate panel that I cut to fit. Acrylic is cheaper, but will crack when drilling and cutting with power tools. Polycarbonate is many times stronger than acrylic, less scratches, and cost $20 a panel. Acrylic is fine if you have laser cutter or mold. I wanted to get thicker panel, but decided it was over kill and more than twice the price.

Yes, ASUS new white Sabranco motherboards are near the top of my want list. Along with a Intel i7 5ghz, 6 core HT processor to go with.

But I will have to wait for reasonable prices. The majority of the parts I used were on sale, near half of retail.

And ASUS warranty service is just awesome, no receipt required. As long as it is not physically damaged or rather old, they will fix it for free!

So, if you find a non-working ASUS part, in good condition. Buy it and send it to ASUS for RMA that the previous owner should have completed. MSI and Intel seem similar warranty service. And Ebay is just great.

$220 Intel i7 3770K

$60 G.Skill Z77 8Gb @2400

$80 ASUS Sabertooth Z77

$300 Asus 780 DirectCU2

$75 Asus Essense STX

$45 Asus Blu-ray drive

$60 NZXT Kraken X60

$12 NZXT Sleeved LEDs

$75 Corsair C70 Vengence case

$85 Corsair AX860 Platinum

$10 each Corsair White LED AF120 x2, AF140 x2

$15 each Noctua NF14 x2, NF S12A, NF P12 PWM

$220 Samsung EVO 500GB SSD

$60 1TB WD Black

$15 Windows 8.1 pro with media center

Few more photos. The Corsair white LED fans look really nice in person. The pictures don't do them justice.

where did you get the 15$  os?

I purchased a few copies last year when Microsoft was offering upgrades to Windows 8. Windows XP and Vista and can easily found for near free. Windows 8.1 is still not that popular, so you can still find upgrade deals. Or if you are a student or know a student, Colleges give huge discounts on software. Almost worth taking a class just for access to the free software.
