ssd+hdd is faster. 

 

sshd is cheaper.

I would go with the Solid State and the HDD because you will get speedy boot times with the SSD and maybe put a game or two on it that you really like and use the HDD for other games.

In a desktop SSD and HDD. SSD for boot and programs, HDD for games and your porn.
