So i got some arctic cooler a30 a while back, fathers(editing) pc fan broke so we got needed a new cooler, he stole the arctic cooler one, this means i need to get a cooler asap as my i5 will be arrived in the next few days and im not putting the intel one on

Anyways ive only got £15, im not likely getting money any time soon so i need help, as for overclocking ill push the 4670k to around 4.0 or 4.1 for now, i get a dark rock pro sometime in the future if i want to get serious

Dont recommend the hyper 212, im so low on money that i cant even afford that.

An alternative is this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Raijintek-Aidos-CPU-Cooler-92mm/dp/B00GOVA3XI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1403559227&sr=8-2&keywords=raijintek

but that raijintek has a 92mm fan but zalman has a 120mm fan.

Get the first one. Cooler Master, Be Quiet and Noctua coolers are well known and the best performers but it doesn't mean that every other CPU air cooler out there is shit, they're just not the best of the best in terms of temp and noise.

That's a fairly subtle overclock for the chip in terms of performance so I would say skip that and use the stock. As Norumu said above, hold out and save up to get a better cooler.

Why not just hold out and save that £15 for your upcoming preferred cooler? :)

Firstly that intel cooler is too loud secondly the chances of me getting money which i can spend in the next 6 months is minimal, any summer jobs will be money that is forced into a savings account for uni.
