Good free video editor

Hi all

 

I'm looking for a decent free video editor to work on some videos for youtube

 

what are some good ones that you guys have used/would recommend??

Windows Movie Maker. There is no good free video editor :\

for Basic video cuting WMM is the way to go but if you want to do some effects you will need to buy a software, in that case Adobe premiere is a good choice or Sony vegas its a good Program with a Friendly interface for starters.

You could try Lightworks. It has a built-in uploader for YouTube.

Give VideoPad Video Editor a try.  It does the job for small projects and is a hell of a lot better than WMM.  Can't do anything too fancy but it gets the job done until you can move up to Premiere or similar.
