So this is a benchmarker Im subbed to on youtube. Pretty cool dude ;)

 

Anyway he benchmarked the 4770K and 8350!

Which one would you choose and why? The main question is why lol. He asked it but it made me think about it. I currently have the 4770K and its nice to see its doing well at metro last light, just brought it on summer sale :D

4770K. It's good for gaming as it has more powerful cores, and seeing as most games only use 4 or less cores, it will perform better than the 8350. HT also lets the 4770k perform as well or better in applications that use a lot of threads. Also, less power consumption and heat output. Only benefit I can think of for the 8350 is the lower price. 

 

Another thing is the better boards for the LGA 1150 socket.

No it doesn't. He isn't promoting his channel or another one.

 

I would actually choose the 4690K instead of the 4770K, since it just makes more sense. But if I had to chose between thosetwo in the video, I wouldn't even think twice about buying a 4770K.

4770k because intel.

Also because those stronger cores and hyperthreading are really useful when it comes to rendering stuff. Having all those features that are available on Z97 and even Z87 boards is also really useful.

before anyone bashes me I have the 4770k :)

 

I would pick the AMD because it has a lower price, like crazy low comparing to the 4770K and there high end mobo and pretty cheap. If the 4770K was close in price to the 8350 I would pick the 4770K. The performance increase isnt that great. But I dont regret buying my 4770K. It does what I need to do ;)

Look at the benchmark and see for your self, would you spend £130 more for the i7? if so why?
