Looking for a TV

Go to solution Solved by Stadiz,

Sony have almost everytime the lowest inputlag 25ms or lower.

Because you have a tv that has now an very low input lag, I think you're going to see/feel the difference because you have the TV for a while.
The key difference between Sony KDL55W800B and KDL55W802A are coming from the types of 3D that installed on the TV.
Sony KDL55W800B comes with Active 3D while Sony KDL55W802A comes with passive 3D.
There’s no big differences between Active 3D and passive 3D except that Active 3D just require closer sitting distance compare to passive 3D.
There’re also less significant differences on the TV stand design and the number of USB inputs.
Sony KDL55W800B comes with V-shaped square edge stand design with 2 USB inputs while, Sony KDL55W802A comes with circle TV stand design with 3 USB inputs.

I hope this helps you choosing your TV but model A has lower input lag then model B but just oh so little 1-3ms more while the Top W905 serries are under 19 ms. (cost more)

Anything from sony or samsung will be great. Just make sure it is compatible with PC by either having a VGA port or having a special HDMI port stated in the manual for use with PC.

Otherwise you can have some issues with the image quality that will make it impossible to use with PC :(

Most modern smart TVs will work with PC though.
