Uploading a GIF for your Avatar.

Ok, so a while back I created this great gif of linus for my avatar. I recently changed it to not twitch when repeating but now when I upload the gif it doesn't change.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

Oh btw how do you upload a gif as a profile pic? cough

Remove the old one first. Press F5 to refresh the page. Select the new gif file. Make sure that the image meets the requires of the avatar size or else it will most likely turn into a still image. Press F5 again or reload browser if it doesn't upload instantly.

Edit: It will give me a message saying it has to stay within the 10MB limit if its under 5MB but anything above that or below 10MB it fails to upload.

It might be your gif file. Could you upload the gif to a site and post it here? I can see if it actually works, or check the size to see if it is too large etc etc.

http://imgur.com/JiA3KvI there is a 5MB limit on imgur so its at 360p instead of 480p

I actually Figured it out. the limit is apparently set to 1MB... someone who can change that should, because its way to small.

Just upload it like any other pic, just make sure it has .gif at the back.
