Posted June 16, 2014 So my surface RT won't start up, it actually has been quite awhile since it happen but I was lazy to make a post asking how I could fix it. So I tried to fix it one night, and it turned on for awhile before shutting of again completely, when I try to charge it, the light for the charger does not turn on, is it a charger problem or do I need to send it in for repair? Thanks in advance. Posted June 18, 2014 I've never used a surface tablet so take my opinion with a grain of salt. From your description, and what i can read online I believe this is a charger issue. I'm not an audiophile, I'm just really picky about my music... and my headphones... and my speakers... and my microphone. Other than that, I'm totally not an audiophile.
