It's Chrome being inefficient. If you want a more efficient browser PaleMoon and WaterFox are two good FireFox based options.

Its not chrome.

That's what browsers do, they use a lot of memory. I sometimes need to restart my firefox because of that. I should try a 64 bit version but they are REALLY not supported properly from what I can tell.

You have a lot of tabs open, and you probably have not closed the browser in a while, making a lot of cache files for all the sites you have been to.

You need to cut down on your tab usage and restart the browser more often.

You need to cut down on your tab usage and restart the browser more often.

Yeah i just closed a bunch. Boookmarkled them first. I was planning a PC for my mom, watercooling for me, sorting out pluggins for minecraft, looking ast headfones, and LTT.

Trust me 1gb is nothing. When I leave chrome open and my computer running, like I have for the past two days well... Let's just say I'm glad I got 16gb ram because I'm sitting at 11gb ram used at idle right now lol

With the amount of tabs you have open, that's completely normal.

i3-4170, H81 board, 8GB DDR3, Crucial M4, GTX 770, Xigmatek Vangaurd Case, Creative Titanium X-fi, Razer Carcharias, 500w PSU, 24" VA panel and a 42" IPS. Thinking about getting a plant.
