HELP! Before I electrocute myself!

Go to solution Solved by FragYaL8R,

faulty house wiring... Whole wall just stopped working completely -.-...thank you LTT community.

So when troubleshooting the popping in my speakers, i notice a lot of things have an electrical feel to them. I then figured thats why my speakers were popping, so im here plugging things in and out trying to pinpoint where the bad ground is and it seems to be one monitor because the electricity  is coming in via hdmi. Should i worry about the monitor or the gpu? The electrical feel stops on everything once i unplug the hdmi. I run 2 24inch 1080p asus monitors, 1 23.3in 1080p dell monitor and a 19 inch samsung 900p monitor. My PC specs are 3570K @4.5ghz, GTX 660 SC, 8gb RAM, and a coolermaster 500w psu.

NOTE: My polk m20 speakers finally stopped popping mid paragraph.

HDMI doesn't actually provide a current.

then why do i feel electricity in it when i grab it when its only plugged into the monitor? ive had 2 different hdmi's both do it, one was a generic bargain bin the other was a Monster 25ft powered.

trust me i know what electricity feels like, ive been shocked a half dozen times from faulty psu's. when i touched the bare metal on the hdmi, or the case screws, or even rubbed my fingers across the fan mesh i could  feel it. but im pretty sure its just faulty house wiring, cant get wall to turn back on.

I used to have these speakers that would hiss when I turned on my lamp. If I touched the lamp(it's metal) the hissing sound would get louder and distorted. Not sure what caused the interference but I replaced the speakers and these don't have a problem with my lamp.
