The R4 doesn't have that great of airflow...Most people on the forum don't recommend this case. There are a variety of good cases out there. The Linustechtips community knows this. You are accusing us of being close minded? I only recommend the R4 if someone is going for a silence optimized case.

I should be studying.

I never implied anything; I just see this case get recommended a lot especially for people who want a quiet case with decent airflow. Also, it was supposed to be a joke...

NZXT Tempest 410 Elite anyone?

R4 has horrible airflow. It is silence optimised.

...thats because it is optimized for silence.... as well as the NZXT H440. Both are not optimized for airflow.

I should be studying.

Coolermaster HAF series if you want the most airflow possible.

Corsair Obsidian cases if you want something that looks elegant :)

PS corsair cases have pretty good airflow too. Especially the 900D

900D  In my honest opinion a case that has to much space compared to features, and if you utilize all of the fan mounts with rads its the most airflow restrictive case. I will say that the case itself is dam sexy.

Yeah true. It looks empty unless you put a giant custom loop in there...

My 800D also looks way too empty with only an H100i...

I don't exactly get what the joke is here but the Enthoo Primo is more than double the price of the R4 so it damn well better be a better case.

From your post it looks like you are making fun of the R4 lovers saying the Primo is a better option but those products are not comparable at all whatsoever. If I misunderstood let me know but saying the it is dumb to recommend the R4 because the primo is better. It is like saying that the GTX 760 should never ever be recommended because the R9-295x exists.

RAAAAGH!!! WHY AM I SO BAD AT JOKES!!!

I see the Define R4 recommended a lot due to it's price and features at a low price compared to other cases. It's a quiet case that can work for pretty much anything. Now, we have the Enthoo Primo which is also a great case for the price, but it's a step up from the Define R4.

Y'know what? Let's pretend I never posted anything on this thread.

BTW my Mother board is ATX

Whats your budget for a case?  Size Preference?  Mid Tower or Full Tower?

Any Brands that you prefer the looks of?

Their are a lot of great cases on the market but it comes down to what your going to do with it and what your going to be able to spend.

My Generic Case List: Mid/Full Towers

Fractal Design Define R4 Blackout Windowed / Arc Midi R2

Corsair C70 Vengence

Corsair Obsidan 450D/650D/750D  - (900D - IF you must.)

NZXT H440/H630  - Phantom 630 Windowed/Switch 810

Phanteks Enthoo Primo/Enthoo Pro - (Enthoo Luxe when released.)

ThermalTake Urban T81/Level 10 GT

CM Storm Trooper/Stryker/Scout 2

Nanoxia NXDS1B

Pretty much the list of cases i used when finding what was best for me.   Their are others but these are cases that stands out to me as being good/great.
