Hi guys, I am planning on updating my build and in the process I want to change the regular cables on my power supply for braided ones, I have a hybrid modular PSU so basically everything but the 24 pin is modular. My power supply is Seasonic m12ii.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Seasonic-ATX-620W-SEASONIM12II-620Bronz-M12II-620BRONZE/dp/B003BIEOBY

My question is does anybody know which braided cables will be compatible on the market?

Thanks.

All power supply cables are the same.

No they aren't. Don't use Corsair sleeved cable kits with other power supplies, for example. Many cable kits are not compatible with other power supplies from other companies. Unless it has been verified by the companies themselves, or by other users, don't try it.

Are you sure? Last time I checked, an 8 pin was an 8 pin no matter what brand.

They don't have any standart on how PSU side connectors are made.

To OP, most safest way is to buy same brand than what your PSU is. Or ones that have compatibility listed.
