I currently have a Logitech c525 that I have had for a few years and I love it. The picture quality is good and it can take extreme close ups. The only thing I hate about it is the microphone... the mic quality isn't bad but it's not great either but the main issue with the mic is the sensitivity, it picks up everything really loud. i was on a steam chat with a friend the other day and i ate a few potato chips and i was like 12 feet away and thats all he could hear, he said it was like I was 3 inches away.

So basically i'm looking for some software to add effects to my mic so i can maybe do an EQ on it or find some kind of cutoff for the volume or whatever because its ridiculous how sensitive this mic is even a click of my mouse is super loud.

That's the thing about omnidirectional microphones... if they're sensitive, they're sensitive to everything. It could be that you've enabled some sort of automatic volume compensation, where the less sound it picks up, the more sensitive it gets.

You're and your are not the same. Neither are their, there, and they're. Defiantly and Definitely are definitely not the same. Definately and Rediculous are not words, and you should feel bad for misspelling them. If English is your first language, you don't have a learning disorder, and you get any of these wrong, you are making the entire forum slightly dumber by doing so. Please take the extra three seconds to type properly, and have a nice day.

Not the same starting with Vista, but you get the point.
