PS Vita or Nvidia Shield?

Shield. Hands down

I would go for the Vita if it had more games, but honestly that thing is dead. There's practically more Android standalone games optimized for the Shield then games made for the Vita. On top of that there's in home streaming for your PC games (provided you have a GeForce)

I have a vita and am on the fence about it. I haven't turned it on in a month. If you have PS Plus, the free and discounted games are nice, otherwise you pay a premium for mediocre games. It's hardware is barely able to support some of the poorly ported games such as The Walking Dead. Remote play is OK on my fastish connection.

I crave a shield for its much better components, but the shield 2 will be coming out with the new Tegra chip so I'm holding out.

I love PS exclusives but hate paying so much for old games and new crappy ports.

If you want to play Jak & Daxter I'd say buy a PSP, they're really cheap and have tons upon tons of excellent games. Plus, if you install cfw, you can stream your psp to your pc and play it in HD, which is tons of fun. Not to mention that it is great for running emulators and playing PS games. But between the Vita and a Shield I'd go for the Vita.

If you already have a PS3, PS4, and PS+, a Vita is a no-brainer.
