Yes you should RMA it.

Do backups of whatever is important from it and then first contact the reseller if they can help you.

Otherwise contact the manufacturer Western Digital.

I usually edit my posts.

though the drive has bitlocker on it

In theory if they don't have the key no one will be able to get at the data. If you are paranoid then you can try a full surface wipe.

The pending sector count raw value of 270 (hex) is really high suggesting something is really wrong. Writing to it may "fix" the pending sectors as the drive can remap them to spares, but the concern is you might find or get more in future.

Out of interest, if you open the errors in event viewer what do they say?

instant RMA. i you have data you can try to take it out. if something is under warranty the RMA is always the best solution.

also WIPE everything, even if they don't have the bitlocker key it's always a good idea to wipe it

in this specific case no, if it was an hardware problem (you will hear the HDD ticking) than it could damage it more

If it's going for RMA, why do you care if it dies even more?

Before an RMA though, one thing to test is the sata cable. Drives do fail occasionally when new, but I also wouldn't put it past being a bad cable.
