Ok I have 1 15w poe cable and it's powering 1 15w phone.Im looking for an adapter that would split the 1 cable into 2.while also making both of the output 15 wats each so it would be able to power 2 phone.yes I understand that I would need to plug the adapter into a outlet to make up for the power list in the split. Witch would mean I need a active splitter ?right

I bought 1 and it didn't work I realized that it was spliting the 15wats over both ports so each phone only got 7.5 wats each and didn't want to fully turn on I'm looking for a active poe switch but when I look they throw poe standard like both ports are 802.1p idk what that means

I have used this before for basically this use case. https://store.ui.com/us/en/products/usw-flex

The issue is you basically need poe+ or poe++ to use these splitters as the switch needs power and the 2 devices downstream.

Are their any cheaper in like the 20-50 range 🥲

Just get a cheap POE injector https://eu.store.ui.com/eu/en/category/accessories-poe-power/collections/pro-store-poe-and-power-adapters/products/u-poe-af

It also comes in poe+ 30w if you want to split the power

If you've got an outlet anyway (and you'll need some power source because you can't magic an additional 15 watts out of thin air), why not just get a power supply that plugs into the wall?

Here's an 8-port TP-Link switch with four POE+ ports for $60:

And its 5-port little brother (also with four POE+ ports) for $50:

Or a TP-Link POE++ powered switch with four PoE+ output ports for $60, but you'll have to upgrade your upstream PoE injector to supply enough power:

There's also the option of using an older switch.

For example, see this Cisco 8 port switch for $60 : https://www.ebay.com/itm/357984055799

That thing's a 10/100 Fast Ethernet dinosaur. Don't bother with anything that old.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
