Control VR: The next biggest thing since Oculus Rift?

Hey guys,

 

So if you watch the youtube channel Node, you know that they are the LAN party channel and they're really funny. One of the guys teamed up with a VR company to make body-tracking sensors so that when you move, your character moves in the same way. I think this is really interesting, and with an Oculus Rift, the Virtuix Omni and this, I think that VR is pretty much complete. There is a kickstarter site here.

 

I really like this idea. Please fund this!

The concept sounds great, but I don't see this ending well. It looks like it will be buggy and not all that great of an experience.

The concept sounds great, but I don't see this ending well. It looks like it will be buggy and not all that great of an experience.

I feel like the bugginess is the charm of it, and I think this would be really funny implemented in a game like Garry's Mod.

It's so easy to get these ideas funded on kickstarter and indegogo, and i don't see any of them ACTUALLY do anything yet.
