Personally unsure, I dipped on intel after 8th gen. But you should be able to google "intel 14th gen degradation symptoms" and check for any of those

Im trying to figure out what my bottle neck/ issue is any ideas? just about any game i load into is taking a very long time to render anything in and after it does load the lows when they hit are 20-30 fps and they hit hard. The only changes ive done to the computer are under volting it a bit and that was due to excess heat while gaming.

Welcome to the forums!
Is this a new problem or have you just built this?
what games? What settings?
when you're running the games, keep task manager and hwmonitor open and see if anything is pinned to 100.

Honestly, your first thing to do should probably be to reset all the BIOS settings to stock and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, then boom, the UV was the problem.

What kind of excess heat were you seeing?

i was and still am running 3-4 emulators and they were making temps go straight to 95+. and any cooling solution wasn't working and that seemed to work fine without any issues. Also I'm pretty sue that this issue was from before i modified the voltage in the cpu.

This is a issue that has gotten worse with more intense games.  I usually run at med to low settings cause it can help but most of the time does not. hwmoitor shows whats attached on med to low settings. This is on Monster hunter Wilds.

That ram use is getting into dangerously high territory. Try shutting down some background tasks and see if that helps. You could be running out of ram in game and switching to swap which is less than ideal for framerates.

i mean i have 32 gigs. What might be a issue is that the memory always cached 17-20 gigs so it pretty much always runs like that. How do i get my usage down?

TBH, I have 64GB and after a couple weeks it'll be sitting at 55ish gigs used, and it's noticeable in games. A reboot and reopen of all my tabs later, I'm back down to 20-30gigs and games run smooth.
Windows is just not great at handling this for some reason.

Wait, all at the same time? That seems unnecessary

What coolers did you try?
That being said, yeah, in that era intel was trying to keep up with AMD by just cranking the power targets. I know that they got into trouble with that strategy on the 13th/14th gen high end models, but it wouldn't surprise me if the same problems are present on the 12th gen i9. Your CPU might just be dying.

That reset tip seems to usually work without me knowing. The emulators is not a constant thing so thats fine and the temps are under control now. And i really hope that is not dying but what things are signs that it is? Cause if im upgrading then im not going back to intel, not anymore.
