Defined how?

Where is the "speed lower"?

Download speed tests show megabits per second (Mbps) which is how speed is sold by ISPs

A lot of clients show in megabytes (MBps)

8 bits in 1 byte so 100 Mbps = 12.5 MBps

Is this wired or wifi?

If wifi, distance matters.  Walls matter.  Closets, bathtubs, wiring, pipes, etc...matter.

I have 1.2Gbps Xfinity:

1.  Wired into router - 1.2gbps

2.  Wifi on phone next to router - 1.3 - 1.4Gbps

3.  Wifi to office upstairs and across the house - 350Mbps

etc.

Most sites throttle downloads especially during heavy demand.  Also, as hinted above, Wi-Fi speeds are not stable and widely vary depending on where you are.

A website or service can run multiple servers and load balance between them. You might not get the same speed as someone else accessing the same site. Heck, you might even get a different version of the same site/service because they're in the process of migrating their instances.

Then there are issues of routing. Say you're in Greece and accessing a Dutch server and someone is in Sweden. You could both access the same Dutch server and get there at different speeds because one routing will go through Germany and another through Denmark. There are so many factors involved, even when it's not your own hardware/ISP.

Also those speed-testing websites will give you some optimal nearby servers to test against. But if you manually pick some more distant server, you'll get lower speeds. It depends vs which server you're testing your speed.

And when you access some other website, you will run into a different setup, maybe they don't have CDNs, the routing is not optimal, traffic is congested, etc.

Also internet speed might vary per time of day as the more people are at home, the busier the internets.

What the fuck kind of childish response is this?

You come in here, asking for help.

I ask a very general question that we ask almost everyone who comes in here, what are your system specifications?

I wouldn't be asking this if it wasn't valuable to us.

If you called a mechanic asking for help with your car, you would tell them what car you have, not just.. its red.

Good luck.

Sheesh.

If you don't know your system specifications, just tell us and then we can figure that out.

We can't help if you don't give us context

1: 320mbps learn to read
2: depends around 20 or 50 MBps
3: again do you epect to have a list of every site i ever download from? right now steam
4: aaaa? pc? do you want the partition
5: the one where you ask how i measure actual spee is very stupid google(brave) and steam literally tells you the download speed
6: i said that i get same speed on wifi IN THE SAME ROOM WITH THE ROUTER so considering this we asume it's wired witch it is wired ethernet

7: 950-900 mbps

what specs do you need? do you expect me to tell you the specs of my psu? do you need the router? the drivers? the gpu? the cpu? i won't lay here all the pecs of my pc just tell what specs do you want and what part of enough don't get it means i checked my drivers router and pc can handle the speed at max of 1000 mbps my plan is for 900-950 mbps

Specs, and explaining what you meant by this, allow us to see if there is anything we may know or run across that conflict with issue, or can shed light.  We're not asking just to be dicks.  There are tons of issues that can arise simply from using an M.2 AND a SATA SSD for example, that very few people know, and it depends on the motherboard.

For example, my motherboard shuts off PCIe slots when I use all 3 M.2 slots. I didn't know this until I couldn't get my PCIe M.2 addon card to work.  I was stumped for a good while thinking it was something else completely.

But...best of luck.

I refuse to try to help those that give you shit for trying.

Testing internet speed while using Wi-Fi is not accurate. Also the further you are away from the wireless gateway. You will have a lower speed.
