Hey, so I am planning making a gaming rig this summer and I my budget is around $3500, I created one on PCPartPicker, btw location is in Canada. What do you guys think of it, any suggestions ?

Only thing I have bought from it right now is the case.

Wow why all the storage...

Just get a 4670K or a 4690K coming soon

Also get an nh-d15 if you want to be overclocking a bit more, it is a more current model.

That build isn't bad but keep in mind that you really don't need $3500 for a pc, you can be good with a significantly cheaper pc. Also why so much hdd space, i would personally get no more than 3tb as more isn't really necessary (for average stuff or even gaming) and then spend the extra on a better mobo, cpu, or even gpu. Anyway that build still looks pretty nice. Good luck!

I run my own indie game company called Color Dragon Studios where we are currently making a 2d platformer game called Small Earth.

If its just gaming step down to an i5 and do you really need that much storage?

Oh, sorry forgot to mention I occasionally do video projects whenever I have time, and yea I need that storage its main purpose is for local backup, thats why I am putting two of those drives in a NAS.

If you use vegas or premier you can always gpu render the projects instead to save a little money.

Yea, ill consider it and hopefully the price of the 4670k will go down, once the DC one releases. I was going to pick the NH-D15 but couldn't find it on PCPartPicker.

Yea, I know it's pricy but it does include a 1440p monitor, a NAS, and backup drives.
