hey guys, because of linustechtips recent video about the zotac thing mini pc, i know my parents should be getting a new mini pc for that tv, and it just needs to basically youtube, and play videos, not really gaming, just fine HD videos. so what is the cheapest possible pc for that. of any form factor, whether it is like what linus showed, or whatever. how cheap can you get something?

Dude... It was a joke, 1GB of RAM @1333 is definitely NOT what I recommend for gaming builds. It'll probably be fine for just watching videos, especially if on Linux.

Two words: INTEL NUC (Look it up it's an intel barebones kit similar to the Zbox but more for media than gaming)

thing is NUC are pretty expensive even as a barebone

 

add the SSD,RAM and WiFi card and it cost as much as a basic gaming desktop
