Should i get a 760 now or save for a 770

So before anyone says 280 (x) i am puting these cards in a hackintosh rig so it needs to be nvidia, now back on topic, i need a hackintosh compadible card that i will be gaming in windows on.

If you could wait for the new Nvidia cards coming around the end of this year, you could probably even afford a 780 because the last generation's prices will be slashed.

However, if you can't than i suggest 770. I currently have Palit gtx 770 jetstream - works perfectly I maxout watchdogs on a 42 inch 1080p screen ... almost no lags but whenever i move to another zone (like pass half the map or smth) I have to wait for the game to load in the textures and lighting so it lags for 2-3 seconds but that's it.

Save for 770. It's not that more expensive, but much more powerful.

size does not mater and it is prob your tv that makes the loads bad

Its actually a limitation of GPUs that have less then 3-4GB. Because texture need to load in all the time and 2 gb is to little for Watch_Dogs.

You can actually do a hackintosh with amd GPUs, but I would probably go for the 770 if you aren't willing to be In a minority of people taking a chance with an amd hackintosh.

I fancy building a hackintosh at some point, and I'm the same, I'd rather use nvidia for it, as it's been supported for longer, but I thought it was worthwhile pointing out, especially as the new Mac Pro on lowest GPU selection effectively has 280X crossfire running
