What is this

Go to solution Solved by jaslion,

Typical dogshit aliexpress dropshipped garbage.

Just means it can play back a 4k movie (maybe these things if they have a soc in them are dogshit slow) but only outputs at 720p.

Dont waste your money its manufactured ewaste

Looks like an AliExpress drop shipped copy of that nifty Samsung projector.

I've gotten to know some stuff, but am far from omniscient, so don't take my advice as gospel and wait for other opinions - I just like throwing in my two cents when I can.

Could be a round-about way of saying it will use a 4k or 1080p signal, but actually only projects at 720P. My father had a plasma TV back in the day that would sync on a 1080P signal no problem, but it was only a 480P screen.

It means the projector outputs 720p but it will play 1080p/4k video. It's a good marketing trick to fool people looking for cheap 4k projector.

You see the same with HDR. Monitors that are marketed as supporting it, because they can accept HDR input, but don't actually have an HDR capable panel able to display it.
