I would use the bottom for one the 480's and pump if you can - leave the front for AF fans...

not banging on the 3820, but 3820? not a good experience for a 2011 socket.

better productivity from a 2700k/3770k 1155 socket over 3820. 3930k for

productivity.. gaming is still 1155 platform.

any reason picking the airplex rads? mighty complicated and costly rads for

overkill build? easily the alphacool, SR1 or XSPC 480 will do the job at 25%

savings.

your fitting list will write itself, pretty much when the hardware jumps into

the case. and you'll prolly have 2-4 shipments of this and that.

my layout would be front 480 (intake) +1 120 fan, top 480 (exhaust) and

bottom 480 (pass-through).

i just choose those rads because they were white. i will look at yours.

I want 2011 because i want to start 3d modeling and what not.

what brand of fittings would you recommend? this will be a white build but with black and red accents

is this rad any good? http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14987/ex-rad-341/Alphacool_NexXxoS_UT60_Full_Copper_Quad_120mm_Radiator.html?tl=g30c95s570

That's a pretty good rad. You could also try and use the Monsta model. It's 80mm thick but you have plenty of room.

I'm also rocking that case but mine is way overkill on the rads.

those radiators are covered in stainless steel (no paint - bright reflection)

2011 isn't the only socket with exceptional 3D modeling. the 1155 does

just fine. the quad-core w/hyper-threading 3820 is similar to 2700/2600/3770

other than two cores binned out from 3930k or 3960x. if using 2011 for 3D

you really should be on 39XXx/k and work station grade GPU. no real

advantage using 2011 quad-core over 1155 quad-core. one really

sticks out is RAM.. 3D is a RAM monger..16 minimal 32 queasy,

64 comfortable, 64+ productive. and you can stay on 1600MHZ for

no real gains for the 2133 on productivity of 3D..

you'll find when rendering latency issues on redraw and ray tracing using

based CUDA (unless the software title needs it) over using OpenGL.

ive already made up my mind thanks though. also im getting ivybridge-E so you have no idea it may be 10x better than 1155.

also im not getting the ram right away but i will pretty soon after.

and im getting 2 780s

what rads would you suggest then? must be quad or tri 120mm and 60mm thick no more no less.

I managed to stuff 3x 560's and 2x 360's with room to spare.  :P

For rads, you can go with HWLabs Black Ice SR1's, Alphacool Nexxxos UT60 or Monsta, or XSPC RX. Those are the ones I like to use.
