you could probably squeeze by with a 500w, but I'd personally go with something like a 750/850w as power supplies are most efficient at ~50% and it will also mean lower temps, therefore quieter operation. Worth a thought.

Also you can't run that cpu on that board. It will kill the power delivery, you need to go with a decent 990fx board as 970 isn't meant for overclocking and a 9590 is a highly overclocked 8350.

if it is under 750 watt than its good. I mainly want to do video editing on it. And that cpu is from what i heard a good cpu for its price.

For the price it is good, but it also draws a huge amount of power so keep that in mind.

Like people said, that board has poor power delivery system. It wasn't made for FX-9XXX.

750W 80+Bronze would be nice

But for the money you're throwing on your CPU, you could get 4770 (you save in the long run)... Which uses A LOT less power than FX-9590....

It actually isn't. The 8320 and 8350 are good for the price.

Potatoes are good for your nostrils.

any 990fx from the regular brands will do. Asus, gigabyte, Asrock, Msi etc. Just check on the manufacturer's website for compatibility with the 9590 as they will have it listed if it officially supported.
