Budget : 2600USD-tax included

Country: USA- San Antoino

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I play a large number of games currently playing poe2, monster hunter wilds, more generally I play lots of rts and sim games

Other details I currently use a 32 inch 2k and a 1080p 27inch

I'm currently using a i7 10700 and a 5700xt looking to upgrade to a system that can run high 1440p at 144hz(will likely get a better monitor soon 2k 165hz)

Going to buy as soon as i can make a choice and pcs are in stock

Ray tracing is a big part of what I want in my upgrade as long as i can run my games at 90-120 fps id like them to look as good as possible.

I would also be open to going into the 3000usd range if its worth it. like my current pc I'm hoping this can last me another 4-5 years

https://localcomputer.expert/  <--- order your parts online and bring them down to this shop and they will build your PC for you for a fee. This way you know exactly what's going inside your case as in quality components.

https://pcpartpicker.com/products/video-card/#c=589  <--- RTX 5070 Ti 16GB. Give it three or four weeks for these cards to start showing up in better numbers while the price drops closer to MSRP which is $750. Until then you can use the integrated graphics that's included with this cpu to surf the net, etc .. if you need your PC right away. Otherwise wait.

thank you so much for your help! i know when it comes to cost what you suggested is a very good option. I was also looking at this as i looked at the Newegg website ABS Eurus Aqua Gaming PC - Windows 11 Home - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D - GeForce RTX 5070 Ti - DLSS 4 - AI-Powered Performance - 32GB DDR5 6000 - 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD - ER9800X3D5070TI2 - Newegg.com  are these ok quality wise for parts would the 750w be good enough? ive saved the pc part lists you posted and il look into it more just curious if the abs prebuilt is an ok alternative even with the extra cost. i like the idea of a full pc warranty

That looks to be a decent deal other than the SSD (runs hot and inferior controller), psu is non ATX 3.0 / 3.1 which means it lacks the adapter for these new Nvidia cards. No mention of RAM latency and games benefit from low latency RAM.

thank you so much for all the help again! assuming the ram is alright would i be good just getting a new nvme and using the old one as a boot/non important stuff drive? i was going to get a new storage drive anyway because i hoard games lol. as for the psu does this mean i will just need to get a new one if i want to upgrade in the future? i think I'm probably going to get the abs if that all i have to worry about.

I think with this il have most the information i was looking for thank you so much for all the help! if its not too much trouble any good suggestions for a good 4k or maybe a large 1440p monitor just as a secondary for movies and non game stuff? sorry for asking you directly all this stuff lol

You can get a decent ATX 3.0 / 3.1 psu for cheap enough these days. I would look at a 850W psu for that build so that you don't have any issues with gpu power spikes.
