I stream things because its less work finding it normally. Its just like porn why download when you can just stream it now(reminds me of the good old days of downloading porn on dial up).

I'm watching on a 24" 1080p monitor or a 32" 720p tv and i have a 100mbs down connection i think I'm fine with most things i stream

Up to date with the anime, have read all the available volumes of the light novel. (12 so far, volume 13 isn't fully translated yet)

I'm sad that they skipped quite a few things with the anime, small things, admittedly, but still enough that you might not have a proper understanding of the series/the relationship between the different characters.

Other than that, better than I expected, but at the speed things goes, this should more or less cover the first 7 or 8 volumes. (7 episodes for volume 1 and 2, more or less the same for volume 3 and 4, then volume 5 is a bunch of extra side stories so possibly less than 4 episodes, then volume 6 and 7 might be another 7 episodes... that's more or less 24 episodes, but they should be including volume 8 in there, considering the little bit at the start of Episode 1 is from that volume.

That is, if it's even a 24+ anime and not just end at 12~14 episodes... which wouldn't surprise me, at all.

 

Too bad we won't see Tatsuya fight the American's Strategic Class Magician, which is in volumes 9 to 11.

Also i hate when they cut the series long before the story is over and just stop at some random point so i hope they don't do that with this.

The funny thing about Mahouka, is that the series could easily end after Volume 2, Volume 4, Volume 7, etc... You could just take those stories individually, read them and it'd still be good, as none of them end in some massive cliffhanger that leave you wanting to absolutely want to know "what happens next".

 

As for more info, just one tidbit, potentially spoiler if they do end up talking about it in the anime, though I doubt it since they didn't even show the initial scene to begin with...

the reason Tatsuya wanted to talk with Yoshida Mikihiko (episode 8), is because on the first day of class, when he was filling his info in the terminal, when Ono-sensei came in(anime cuts here), she ask them to fill it their information and those who are done can leave, Tatsuya decided to not stand out and stayed even though he was done, but the only one who did leave, was Mikihiko, which was is what made Tatsuya want to talk with him. (they should say a bit more on that in the anime at some point, if they don't... well I'll be disappointed.)

And then there's pretty much ALL the information on every different Magic they use... Which isn't really explained in the anime. I guess they rely on the visual to convey that information....

odd question but do you know how well the manga follows the novels as that could be the reason that things are cut out as the anime may be following the manga and the manga following the novel so its like playing telephone lol

But meh i expect this to end around ep 24~26 like all other interesting Animes, its like a trend for the past years.
Well as long as the manga outlives the anime and gives a great ending ill be satisfied but for now...the waiting game.

i'm watching FMA:Brotherhood myself. I suppose IAMH was a bad idea. I'll keep it with animes that have at least 10 episodes out from now on.
