i3 vs i5

Wich build to choose ? i5-4440 with gtx 750 1GB vram. (normal version), or i3-4150 with gtx 750 TI 2GB vram.

save a little more and get i5 + 750 ti

 

or get some amd parts instead.

750ti with the i3.

Ideally (obviously) i5 and 750ti, but if you just can't wait, go for the i3.

I assume you're using it primarily for gaming?

i really really recommend saving money  and buying an i5 and an AMD 270  

 

but if u cant get the i3 with a 750ti

I will by a prebuild computer so yeah  :wacko: , but my birthday is in 3 months, and i can (maybe) save up for a i5 4460 and gtx 660 2gb, the i3 build is 600 $, and the 660 build is 700 $, i will think about that.

i5 and a 270 would be better again if you can save otherwise would save for the i5 and 750ti. 

 

I would look at an FX6300, 990fx board and a 270 or stretch for 270x as it would be worth it, plus you can OC if you want/ need to

i5-4440 + Radeon R7 265 or R9 270 they both outperform the 750ti pretty bad, and cost about the same...could even look for GTX 660 wich is also better than a 750ti for less money.

Save a bit more and get core i7-4960X with H100i in push pull, forumla Z motherboard, 32 GB of DDR3 2400mhz RAM and 2x GTX TITAN BLACK'S in SLI...and dont forget about the 1200W seasonic PSU! ...i would also suggest you get a 1TB SSD to go along..

List what games you play, you might be even better off getting the i3 and a better gpu

i5 + 750ti if you cant wait just get a i5 + 750

If i were you i would get either an amd fx 6300 or fx 8320, they are close to the same price as the i3 and they are better. Also although the i5 is much better it still would probably be better to get a weaker cpu and a stronger gpu.
