Hey everyone, I’m stuck between getting an RX 6750 XT or an Intel Arc B580. My main focus is gaming at 1080p/1440p and maybe some light video editing. I’ve got a Corsair RM850x PSU, so power isn’t an issue and its pairing with a RYZEN 5600x. I know the 6750 XT has better overall performance, but the B580 is cheaper and has better encoding, which could be handy. Intel’s driver updates seem to be improving too, but AMD has a more solid track record. Any advice on which one to go for?

I have a Radeon RX 6750 XT running with an R7 7800x3d on an Asus X670E-E mobo and it works great.  I only play just one game (World of Warcraft The War Within) and I got just over 300 FPS last night while playing.

The way I see it is, if I can get it to work like this, than anyone can get it to work like this.

Take care and  good luck.

B580 is a budget 1080p gaming card with a GPU to match the status. That is the sole purpose for it's existence. Go for AMD.

AV1 really isn't that useful to normies. If you are professionally multistreaming to several sites, yeah, sure, maybe, but in that case, you should use the Battlemage as a second GPU.

Man, what a world we live in where AMD's GPU driver updates are being held up as Good 😛
