There are programs in the Google Play Store that will do the work for you. This is one of them: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mahmed.net.synctuneswirelessfree

It works on any non-DRM protected music. That means any music you rip to your computer from a CD, any music you get from a non-DRM protected source and any music purchased via iTunes after April 2009 when Apple removed all DRM from the music on the iTunes store.

You have a nice selection of choices actually:

-> You have Amazon Music

-> You have Google Play

-> You also have XBox Music (yes, plays on Android and iPhone).

If you listen to a lot of music, then I would suggest XBox Music. You can buy music much like iTunes, as standard MP3, but also, if you get the subscription model, you have unlimited music streaming and download, no ads. There is a 30 day trial, and if you have Windows 8 you can use the streaming service for free (with ads). Just start Music Windows 8 App, and you are there.

That is what I use, and like it very much, and I think people should give it a look, at least. I think it deserves that. It's not perfect, but it is pretty solid, and I can personally find what I am looking for.

If you are interested in subscription music instead of purchasing, and it is available in your region, you can have a look at Spotify as well. But I can't comment on it as it is not available in Canada. They have been saying "coming soon to Canada", longer than Blizzard games. I don't think they know the meaning of it.

Oh, just had a look and it looks like they removed the "coming soon to Canada", to not available. I guess they could not make the proper arrangement to set it up here.
