Two files won't delete

Hello,

 

Not too long ago I relocated the xboxGame folder back onto my C drive and since then I can't remove the exciting files 

 

 

Just saying no permissions are allowed, all I want is to remove the two files as they are no longer needed XD

Check if you can give yourself permissions  in the properties under "Security"

In relation to what @Average Nerd said, this just gives you ownership of everything in the folder. Useful to have anyway tbf.

Nope, still no luck, changing the permissions, editing the main admin role, nothing.. CMD commands also.. just not doing it XD

That means that something related to Windows gaming is running in memory. You can disable Windows game related stuff in services. But remember folders like that might come back after a Windows update. So it's pointless to delete it.

There's always the option of formatting that drive if nothing else works, it's more of a nuclear approach but it'll usually erase undeletable folders

Go to Start/Apps/Microsoft Store, search for XBox Games app

Download and install it. You can leave it this way or delete everything again till the next Windows Update.
