Should I replace my 7yo AIO?

I have a Corsair AIO on my threadripper 1950 from about 2017. It's been rocking this entire time and it's in great shape. However it's 7 years old and I caught an LTT video where they were saying that AIO's have a life of 8-10 years before the corrosion get's too bad (I don't remember which video it's been plaguing the back of my mind for months now). My computer is in great shape and rocks like a champ, so I want to proactively protect it from a catastrophic failure especially since it's only 24/7 and I'm not here 24/7 to react. If there's really no need to replace is there anything I should keep an eye out for to make sure it's fine? Also, one other question that being nested in here might get missed but should I reseat the heat sinks and clean/reapply thermal paste, it's also 7 years old lol.

If it runs 24/7 and is critical than first of all 1.) have a hot or cold spare to kick in within a reasonable incident response time 2.) use air cooling (less failure points).

If it just an annoyance and no other maintenance is done than keep the current AIO on it.

The Declaration of Independence, once the charter of democracy, begins by saying that certain things are self-evident. If we were to trace the history of the American mind from Thomas Jefferson to William James, we should find that fewer and fewer things were self-evident, until at last hardly anything is self-evident. the worse "catastrophic" failure that could happen at this point is the pump dying and the system shutting down due to overheating, if the system is critical and NEEDS to be up 24/7, then yes replace it, but if not i wouldnt bother until it dies

If it's 7y old you definitely should repaste the CPU!!

It's absolutely not critical, not a home server or anything. I will hold off on replacing it, thanks all. 🙂

If you kept the stock cooler, keep that as a spare for when the AIO fails. Then you have some cooling till you ordered a good air cooler.

I'm not weighing for or against AIO. but if the inevitable replacement cost and reliability are a concern at all, go air cooling.
