Windows 11 Enterprise

Anyone using Enterpise edition for their gaming machine?  I like not having telemetry and better management but was concerned if it could affect games or if it would be more stable after what Hardware Unboxed observed.

Are you able to just install Windows 11 Enterprise? Would've thought at this point there would be a hard requirement of it being enrolled onto an Intune environment.

I do, no issues so far. Its basically the same as Pro but with a a few more features unlocked.

 

You have to turn off telemetrey as it gives you some more options in GP. I think the defaults are roughly the same.

I don't use it for my gaming rig, but I do use it at work. It's basically the same. I don't see why gaming would be any different.

 

Some folks on YT tried gaming on the LTSC versions and they didn't have any major issues. Interesting to see some games showed an improvement in fps with the LTSC version, but others had a decrease. Just that they can run the drivers and games on the LTSC version means that Enterprise will also work fine.

Same here, I'm using Win 11 Ent., does not affect gaming.

Thanks for all the input. I will be giving it a try this week with a new build. Turning off telemetry seems worth it.
