I just want say that you can't Play Watch Dogs on Ultra with this Card. I would't buy a Card with 2 GB VRAM, if you want to play next-gen games. The Asus R9 280 (without x) has 3GB VRAM and costs about 200€. The performance is as good as a gtx 770.

It maybe is, but I plan on playing 1080p, single monitor and I was told 2GB VRAM would be enough.

And also nVidias driver support is a lot better than AMDs.

In a lot of videos I watched on YouTube the people were able to play Watch Dogs on Ultra just the AO wasn´t maxed out.

I have the Xeon 1230v3 and the Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce 3x. Watch Dogs needs 3GB vram for ultra. Because of that i can't recommend a non-futureproof card. I would go with the Asus r9 290 for 340€ or the Asus R9 280 for 205€.

The difference between a 7850 (r9 280) and a GTX 770 is very low.

If you have the money, I would  buy a Sapphire r9 290 tri-x oc Buy for 340€.

I will probably sell my 7950 to get a 770. The 770 is better in most cases. (That is not the reason I am selling my GPU.)

For 1080p you will be fine with the 770. The R9 280 is cheaper and very powerful and is probably better value just looking at performance, but NVIDIA has some nice features like Game Stream....PhysX is not really something I care about, but the 770 has that as well.

Drivers.....yeah AMD Drivers are not particularly bad. I am using AMD for over 7 years straight now and unless you go crossfire.....I would say it is just fine.

Watch Dogs is probably not the best benchmark at the moment because it is not really well optimized.

I have exactly the same graphic card and i cant play the game on ultra without lags (in the city). The Xeon ist at all 8 cores at 20%. The GPU is on 100%. I have the most recent nvidia drivers.

Really? You don´t have to do it if you don´t want to, but could you please tell me your Watch_Dogs ingame settings :) ?

But it should get better with upcoming patches.

Yeah but there will be performance improvements, and I want Watch_Dogs with my graphics card :)

You get Watch Dogs for 36€: http://www.keydealer.biz/category/6993/watch-dogs-ubishop-download/

You don't save much money. With AMD you get better performance and 3 games for free.

....just wanted to contribute to the VRAM question: My GPU actually uses about 2.5GB of VRAM! On high settings that is.

And what should I get instead? AMD r9 280 or 280x?

I wouldn't get either of them.

Get the 770 with 4GB or a 290 (which has 4GB by default) if you want a lot of VRAM.

If you don't want to spend as much money, VRAM will not be your greatest issue, but GPU power will be.
