GPU oven trick failed. Next steps?

My Rx6800 stopped giving a display, so after some research I used the heating method because of Linus doing it. Now the gpu is shorting the pc as well . Its out of the PC now but help me guys!!

 

Edit: RMA was not an option.

Contact the manufacturer for a RMA....should have done that first before baking it.

There is nothing to help with really. If the card was able to be RMA'ed as soon as they get it you will be denied.

I think Linus should stop making these kind of videos where it could, most likely would, damage components and void the warranty....

I've read it could help if the solder joints has come loose.

But so much else could be wrong with the gpu, which won't be fixed by baking it.

 

Besides I doubt the reseller would approve of any warranty claim if it has been baked.

I would not recommend doing this in an oven you also cook food in.

But also the oven trick does work, for specific types of issues.
