Lowering Voltage

I have a question,

 

Will lowering the voltage of a video card cause damage?

 

My video card is running at 993MHz at a voltage of 1.087v and what I did was lowered it down to 0.975v and currently running a stability test to see whether it is stable though I can't remember if it could cause damage.

 

Anyone know?

No why would it?

Its the same as overclocking and increasing voltage. If its stable, its stable.

No. If anything, it will improve it's life and make it last even longer.

Exactly though I couldn't remember mate, just wanted to make sure.

Well after 3 hours and 11 minutes it hasn't crashed on me, I will do it another time for longer though I think it'll be fine at 0.975v.
