that just clips into the back of the case, and is attached to the pcb with wires. while it's not necessarily inspiring a feeling of qualiity, there's nothing wrong with it moving a bit.

literally never done this, my most beat up display has visible pitting on one of the prongs because the connector is so shyte it doesnt actually hold the plug in place and it has a tendency to wiggle out and arc.. works flawlessly given some motivation for the plug to stay inside.
