First of all, sorry, I have another topic that I posted 30 mins ago. I can't figure out how to delete it.

So I was playing Watch Dogs and:

"Display driver has stopper working and has been recovered" - flashing colors, pixilation, all around visual glitches.

Reboot and play Planetside 2 - same thing happens.

Mouse is freaking out.

Reboot - "Display driver has stopper working and has been recovered", mouse freaking out.

Reboot - "Display driver has stopper working and has been recovered", mouse not working, internet not working, keyboard spazzing out (press A once, types 40 A's).

Right now, if I reboot, everything is messed up right away, and I cannot connect to internet.

I am kind of freaking out.

Specs (2 days old):

i5-4670k

GTX 770

Fatal1ty z87 MOBO

EDIT: Just reinstalled Windows 8. Got chipset driver, audio driver, LAN driver, and GPU driver. Then (while on desktop) it said "Display driver has stopper working and has been recovered". Does that mean it is hardware, or is it a driver issue?

Nothing is OC'd.

as people say try to puut everything back to stock and if you have to clear the cmos. that should start to help the problem . just stock clock the GPu or even underclock it if you have to

My recomendations for when a system gets "possessed;"

Return GPU, CPU, motherboard, and memory to stock settings and speeds if overclocking, which you say you are not doing.

Clear the CMOS

Full antivirus scan

Full antimalware scan

If the above does not resolve the issue I suggest the following to test the basic functionality of core components.

-Disconnect everything. PSU, GPU, Memory, the works.

-Remove the disconnected components from the case. It might seem like a pain in the @$$ but it makes the following much easier.

-Once the components are removed from the case give each of them a good physical inspection. Ensuring that nothing some how got damaged. Especially check power connection points for signs of short circuits. Ie melted wires or connection points.

-Rebild a "skeleton" system. This will help to check for faulty hardware.

-connect the following CPU, CPU cooler, one stick of memory, psu.

-once the skeleton is built then power it up and get into the BIOS to make sure that everthing is registering correctly.

-Continue until you have your full system put back together.

Given the problem started with the display driver disconnecting I'm inclinded to think its a faulty GPU or psu.

Try to run some very basic 3Dtests with the intergrated GPU.

Well I just reinstalled Windows 8, the GPU driver, LAN driver, audio driver, and chipset driver, but I got the message after while on the desktop after like 5 minutes.

What's your power supply? And try reinstalling the driver again, never know if it'll help doing it again.

a Corsair 600 watt modular PSU

ALSO: I never installed something called VGA driver on the MOBO driver listed because I figured it only applied when using integrated graphics. That true?

try running the system without the GPU, install the motherboard VGA driver..

uninstall the latest GPU driver you just installed

then try to check your GPU for bloated caps or any burned smell

try downloading a GPU driver 2 or 3 older than the latest
