Bottleneck?

Go to solution Solved by Wtalk2,

Nope. I don't think there is a consumer graphics card combination that can bottleneck a i5 4670K and if there is you can overclock the i5 4670K.

Not so sure...myself. If a 4670K is technically bottle-necking 2 R9 290's then a 4770K is the same...

I think four GTX780Ti's would bottleneck it :P

Hey guys, would an i5 4670k bottleneck two R9 290s?

Do you have two of those fat-as-fuck PCS+ cards now?

If so, is it working fine off of that 750W PSU and how many thingy slots is on your case? (by "thingy" I mean the slots your GPU needs, the tri-x 290 is dual-slot, as are most GPUs, the PCS+ is "two-and-a-half slot")

I don't have two yet. I'll be getting two though. They are definitely 2.5 slot cards, one might even say it's a three-slot card with two bracket things.

I was saying the word "slot" the whole time without realising it was the word I was looking for.

That's enough beer for one night, I reckon.

Before you stop drinking, think about the fact that slot and slut in a british/australian accent sound exactly the same

Only I'm Scottish so my accent is a slight departure from other regions of the UK and definitely a departure from Australia :P

In the intervening period between you writing this and me writing now I've decided to open another beer, however. Living up the Scottish alcoholism reputation!
