V-Moda Boompro problem and alternative

Hello, So Im using my V-Moda Boompro for I believe over a year now. and after most recent realtec audio driver update (that fixed a sound glitched in a game I play), Im having a problem with boompro now. when I talking alls fine, but when I mute using on cable switch people in convo can hear all my windows sounds, video in the background, windows sounds and whatever else can be out there at the time. No idea what can be the cause except of either driver problem or switch mechanical issue.

So Im looking for either a cheap alternative, cannot invest alot atm, and mostly only can use same kind of mic that connects to the headphones cable slot, as my headset has that problem that every cable scratch, touch ect can be hear in the headset with echo. OR a solution for the possible driver problem, as I kind of hesitant to install old version again because of teh in game problem, but then mic is broken lets say.

That sounds like the mic wire is picking up the signal going to your headphones. You need to figure out a way to better isolate the wires

and how do I do that I have zero experience in anything related to wires and no wielding equipment either if I would need any of it. but what do I even look for? for broken cable rubber outer part or smth?
