Nvidia releases 337.88 WHQL

Hawx

New in GeForce 337.88 Game Ready WHQL drivers

Game Ready - This 337.88 Game Ready WHQL driver ensures you'll have the best possible gaming experience for Watch Dogs.
Performance – Introduces key DirectX optimizations which result in reduced game-loading times and significant performance increases across a wide variety of games compared with the previous 335.23 WHQL. Significant CPU overhead reductions in the driver result in performance gains that will often favor CPU-bottlenecked situations. Per usual, results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings.

Sample titles with performance gains of 10% or more since 335.23 WHQL*

I hate it when they don't tell us in absolute benchmarks what the differences are for loading times and CPU reduction and such.

Heh. I just checked geforce.com an hour or so ago for new drivers and nothing. Had this feeling it was about time for this and then here it is. :D

New Zealand just hit their WD release date, so Nvidia is getting their drivers out the door.

i don't care that much about the tweaking guide though, that chart at the bottom, seems reasonable

this is one of the greatest thing that has happened to me recently, and it happened on this forum, those involved have my eternal gratitude http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/198850-update-alex-got-his-moto-g2-lets-get-a-moto-g-for-alexgoeshigh-unofficial/ :')

i use to have the second best link in the world here, but it died ;_; its a 404 now but it will always be here

Planetside 2 SLI profile finally. It's only taken a little over a year. Still though there has been no driver performance increase from Nvidia or AMD. Shame because the game really needs it.

This is the most taxing game I've ever seen.
People complain about a downgrade while only the GTX780/ti/Titan/Black even have enough Vram to even max it out.
If Watchdogs is already that taxing how taxing will The Division or Star Citizen be ?

Well I can confirm that it finally works with Planetside 2. I will have to play some more though just to make sure. After playing for a bit I have found that the GPU becomes the bottleneck more often. I would imagine this is because of the work Nvidia has done on the CPU side however the game still isn't maxing out my CPU or GPU properly. There really need to be something done about Planetside 2 about it's performance. The main problem is the CPU optimization. I know they went over to 64-bit but that has made no impact to performance. We really need SOE to optimize the game to use every core that is available not 1 core fully and the others only a little bit.

I'm expecting Elite: Dangerous to be quite demanding when it comes out to.

thanks for this. I turned off the notification in GeForce Experience for gaming purposes so I didn't know about this.

and... max 1% performance increase in anything I might actually use this year and probably the following years.

Oh and btw the version details cant even load now, lol. How  about so meaningfull update notes? up to 26% performance : performace exlcuding in one Specific (which inst even properly specified) thing. < 126%

Nvidia sucks. I could fill every road in canada with ''Nvidia sucks'' for every time something objectively sucked (didnt work) in nvidia./rant

After hard nvida coding it finally managed to say '' the key features of this driver are not available''

Mor elike ''we are Nvidia the ordinary pre-shit-mium that gets bragged and overrated about in a way we totally are not''/rant

CPU: Ryzen 2600 GPU: RX 6800 RAM: ddr4 3000Mhz 4x8GB  MOBO: MSI B450-A PRO Display: 4k120hz with freesync premium.
