Dac Help

So I'm currently using my onboard audio and I'v been wanting to switch for a while now. But I don't really know where to start or what to look for. I'm looking at a budget of around $50. Also please don't mention sound cards I don't want one what so ever. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Fiio has some cheap DAC's.

For $50, get the Syba DAC. Shearme uses one.

 

For Fiio, you can either get the E10 (if you can find 1), which is awesome for the price, or wait a little longer for the upgraded E10k

Yeah, due to it's discontinued, while the demands are still high. I got it cheaper, about a month ago, from head-direct.com, ships from China though. Maybe you could find used one on ebay? Or ask shearme about the syba dac...
