Best CPU/GPU combo for Diablo III

Hi guys! I've got to build a gaming rig for a friend of mine who has a budget of $600-800. He wants to play Diablo III for long hours and says he may want to stream it while playing.

What cpu/gpu combo do you guys recommend? I would like whatever is best for the budget. Budget is for the rig alone

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate your help :)

Probably Windows 8.1. We're in Ontario. Unsure what monitor yet. Right now I'm looking for what cpu/gpu to get for the rig, we'll worry about accessories later

The 800 bucks budget is for the tower alone or do you need anything included in the budget?

Well he wants to even run 2 instances of Diablo 3 so I think this build and the one requested before are the ones I may go with.

Everyone is going with AMD, guess AMD is more for gaming

It will still handle it no problem. Also AMD has a better bang for the buck in the US market.

I'm in Canada, don't think the US stores will ship to us. Plus, customs are killer too. I'll have to look at it on the Canadian PCPartPicker site

Get an FX 6300 or FX 8320 if your budget allows. Then invest all the rest on the GPU.

Diablo 3 is not much CPU dependent and it has decent enough multi-core capabilities.

If you are streaming with the same PC, the 8320 is going to shine a lot.

Izaya Orihara made quite a nice build. I would have picked the same components myself.

woops just saw the Canada thing too. I still would pick an 8320 and the best GPU you can afford.
