My sister recently asked me to build her a PC. Her budget is $900. She won't be doing anything else than gaming mostly. She wants the pc to be compact/small and black. Couple of pointers I'm buying the CPU without the box aka tray version with a deepcool cooler so buying those two would cost the same as buying the CPU with the box.

I like this build a lot 🙂  You did your research and picked good parts.

Not much I would change if anything.  You can save a few bucks by going with some slightly cheaper memory but thats about it.

Have you considered the Asus AP201 for this build?

ASUS AP201 Type-C Airflow-focused Micro-ATX,Mini-ITX Computer Case, Support 360/280 Liquid Cooling - Black - Newegg.com

Its a bit more compact of a case but slightly more expensive. I think it would be worth it if she likes the design better.

Builder/Enthusiast/Overclocker since 2012 with a focus on SFF/ITX since 2014.

board is a pretty awful choice, vrms are weaker than the b650m hdv and its an a620 chipset not to mention that it doesnt even fit the aesthetic, my reccomendation would obviously be the b650m hdv or an equivalent board, and 2 rgb rams will look better on a board with only 2 slots

ssd is meh cause dramless gen4 so look for a dram gen3 like the exceria g2 nm620 m371 tempest etc.

if the 6700(xt) is available new then get one of those instead as theyll outperform the 7600 and have more vram

otherwise build looks good
