Processor for system

What i5 processor would you recommend (I choose i5 3570)for following system: mother board-Ga z87n wifi, gtx 780,ram-hyperx red.Its for GAMING as you could guess)

Why Ivy bridge not Haswell?  If Ivy, I would get the 3570K cause you can overclock it with just a $30 cooler, and if you have the funds a 3770K.

You are correct that in some areas it it worse than Ivy, such as overclocking and over volting. However it is much more stable (though ivy is very stable) and uses less power. I just figure why not get the newest thing, who knows what features could come out and be supported by haswell but not ivy or ivy but not sandy ect ect

I would have gone aftermarket cooler on the gpu but that's more of a personal choice since the reference is pretty good looking and has the lit up words on the side.

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

The CPUs I tried for Haswell couldn't get over 4.2GHz. So basically a fail for me.
