Would I run into any problems running a minecraft server for me and 5 other friends with decently sized mods with my current hardware?

Or any additional hardware need?

I am just going to use spare parts I have laying around for this.

I just need a mobo, SSD, and a case to finish the build.

CPU: R5 3600X

GPU: RX570 8GB

RAM: 4x8gb (32gb 3200mhz)

PSU: 650w

Honestly a server doesnt need too much to run well. It would be a good idea to limit world size to maybe a 15kx15k blocks. Other consideration is network bandwidth. If your on Cable the limited upload speed might pose an issue, but with 5 people you should be ok

Technology is like a good friend that does its best to piss you off at every turn. yet we love them anyway.

Way better than we have and we are with 10+ people on an older direwolf20 pack.

Id set up a linux distro/vm/whatever that can then run without the gpu because that rx570 is going to really increase the idle power draw.
