Multiple video capture cards in a laptop

Hi guys,

I know that there are some issues with connecting multiple video capture cards to one PC and they could both work only if they were connected to separate USB controllers. Is there any hardware that could help with that? I have an Asus Tuf F15 laptop with i5 12500h. It has a Thunderbolt 4 port, are there any devices that can allow me to connect more than 1 video capture card? (Or do you know of any 2 or 3 channel capture cards that connect over USB instead of pcie?)

i guess you could have a usb one and an hdmi to sd one.

Instead of asking for how to hook up multiple capture cards, tell us what you intend to do with them. This sounds like a classic XY Problem, where you're asking for help with your intended solution instead of a solution for your actual problem.
